Bali Steak & Seafood’s new look

I had not been to Bali Steak & Seafood in the Hilton Hawaiian Village for many years, but knew it as a good, solid place for food in an old-school setting. Nothing wrong with that, but it is good when places keep up with the times.

After many months, the restaurant (and its adjacent Paradise Lounge) has finished its multi-million dollar renovations, picked up a new chef, and revamped its menu. I went to a media event last night to unveil the new changes.

There’s nothing like Mai Tais to give a place local flair. Bali’s features eight-year aged rum with guava, almond, orange and ginger, topped with a hibiscus-guava foam. It is super strong, though, so don’t drink it too fast!
