It’s another creative installment of First Thursdays at Fresh Cafe. This HawaiiSlam show, hosted by Kealoha, will feature Karen Finneyfrock, a novelist, poet and teaching artist living in Seattle, along with DJ Monkey (Broken Liquid) and live painting by various artists. Doors and poet sign-in at 7:30 p.m.; show at 8:30 p.m.
