Hawaii: In Real Life ~ taking better food pictures

More people are taking photos of their food nowadays. Are you one of them? Do you wish you could take better food pictures, even with a point-and-shoot?
I’ve been at it for years, and I always strive to take better pictures of my food. For those of us who don’t use a single-lens reflex camera yet, I asked photographer Oscar Hernandez of Infinity Pacific Photo for some quick tips on looking like a pro — especially in situations where the light is not ideal. We met at Good to Grill to eat, I mean, shoot, their new specials:
