The Hawaii International Film Festival’s fall showcase is finally here, and with 220 films, including 22 feature-length Japanese films, there’s something for everyone. Opening night kicks off with “The Front Line,” a Korean film about the Korean War. The centerpiece presentation, “Pina 3D,” a spectacular visual showcase of dance, and the closing night film, George Clooney’s “The Descendents,” are just a couple of the other notables this year.
