Kit Yan of HBO’s “Asians Aloud” is the special guest at this month’s HawaiiSlam poetry event at Fresh Cafe. A member of the LGBT community, Kit weaves words into love poems, coming-out stories and comedic tale. Don’t miss this talented poet, as well as live painting by the resident artists and music by DJ Toki.
