Start your evening with the indulgent seafood platter, a towering presentation of king crab legs, Kauaʻi shrimp, fresh oysters and a whole lobster. Served with finadene, a peppery, shoyu-y Chamorro sauce, and cocktail sauces, it’s an epicurean celebration of the sea that’s perfect for sharing.

For mains, the seafood cartoccio is a standout. Wrapped and oven-baked to lock in flavor, the dish features locally caught fish, black tiger prawns, Manila clams and black mussels mingling with ʻulu, limu and local vegetables in a fragrant herb butter. It’s rich, hearty and a love letter to Hawaiʻi’s coastal bounty.

The roasted lion’s mane—umami-rich and served with caponata, bitter greens and a hint of smoke from the aioli—is a delightful vegetarian dish that puts an underrated ingredient front and center. Bite in and you might be surprise to find the texture meaty and similar to lobster. And, artfully prepared by 53’s chefs, it’s just as good.

After a feast from the sea, you might like to end on a light, playful note. We suggest the pineapple shave ice, an Island classic elevated with toppings of fruit mui, azuki bean mochi and a creamy coconut sorbet that create a refreshing, delicate end to your meal.
