2014 Beauty After Dark – ‘Honolulu Street Style’
Is it just me or is Waikiki finally getting it? Kamaaina street style that is. T Galleria hosted a mega beauty event on Friday night that featured a book signing of “Honolulu Street Style” by authors Malie Moran, Attila Pohlmann and Andy Reilly. As mentioned in our book review back in March, the photos were taken over a period of six months, and the people featured were authentically captured and interviewed on the spot about their outfits and fashion influences. “Honolulu Street Style” is the second book of the series, following “Shanghai Street Style” and preceding “Sydney Street Style.”
At Friday’s event, which drew the city’s fashion community, there was a performance by urban dance group Blank Canvas, free beauty demonstrations and cosmo cocktails. “Honolulu Street Style” is available at intellectbooks.com
