I'm not trying to hound you. Really. But when we get all dressed pup, those frilly numbers you squeeze me into are kind of a Fi-don't.

Be a dear and fetch me some Puppy Love Hawaii instead. Owner Tracy Shigemura sews her own collars and leashes with playful, eye-catching prints and coordinating buckles, now available in x-small and large versions to accommodate dogs of all sizes.

Word around the park is that each print is chosen for its fresh, vibrant style (to reflect our own lovable personalities, natch) and named after pups Shigemura holds near and dear.

Take Winnie, a colorful orange lotus design that pays tribute to the Australian shepherd Shigemura adopted in 2009, or Sydney, a matching print in cobalt blue, named after Winnie's sister (and "daughter" to Missy and Jeff Mull of Owens & Co.)

I'll definitely have something to bark about if you snap me in Archie's bold poppy print or Brownie's rainbow stripes. We'll also need to keep watch, because new prints, bandanas and bows are coming soon.

This is one stylish accessory that deserves a round of a-paws.
