Suits Your Fancy

TOR designer launches new Citrine Swim line

Citrine Swim

Searching for the perfect swimsuit makes you feel like Goldilocks rummaging through the closets of three bears.

Too small: It's tiny enough to fit a five-year-old.
Too big: It's the swimsuit equivalent of "mommy jeans."
Just right: You haven't been able to find it... until now.

Meet your perfect fit courtesy of Citrine Swim, a brand new swim line dedicated to that happy medium between skimpy and moderate coverage, designed by Caroline Hay (of TOR Jewelry and TOR Boutique fame) and Maui resident Erica Segerberg.

The duo, who met on Maui and stayed close after Hay's move to Charleston last year, launched the line as a celebration of their island adventures and active lifestyles. The debut collection features six tops and six bottoms that can be mixed and matched for flattering yet functional looks.

Make a splash with eye-catching details like macrame (down the back of the sporty Cumberland triangle top and along the hips of our favorite Kula bottom), flirty asymmetrical ruffles (as seen on the Charleston bandeau), and criss-crossed bands (on both the four-paneled Folly bandeau and Tybee bottom).

Each style comes in bright, bold colors like coral, turquoise and blush, and three unique prints designed by graphic designer Tami Snodgrass: Skyfall Chevron (in a deep purple), Shades of the Sea (a blue, line-based digital print), and Mermaid's Tail (think pink diamond "scales").

So your beach bum can live happily ever after.

$48-$58, tops and bottoms sold separately, available online at
