Hiroshi Eurasion Tapas continues its “Locally Grown” four course menu in May as a way of showing their love and appreciation for the community. Offered only on Sundays and Mondays of each month and for $35 per person (not including tax & gratuity), this special menu is made to highlight a variety of Chef Hiroshi Fukui’s fresh Hawaiian home grown foods.

The menu came to life in an effort to keep Hawaii’s economy standing on its feet and also to provide Hiroshi customers with a fresh farm-to-table dining experience. By using local products, produce and meats, the menu creates an opportunity for customers to support the local community. The restaurant shares, “in these challenging economic times, we greatly appreciate how the locals support our restaurant. We look to then support the local farmers as much as we can through our "Locally Grown" menu. Makes sense to us.”
This month’s menu features an Island fish theme. Here’s a look at the menu:
First Course
Pepper Seared Ahi Sushi
shiso, yuzukosho, white sesame seeds, tobiko & yuzu vinaigrette
Second Course
Panko Seared Opah
ume mususbi, basil, ogo with ginger miso brown butter sauce
Main Course
Pan Roasted Monchong
wilted tatsoi, Portuguese sausage-Hamakua mushroom ragout, kabayaki beurre blanc, homemade fukujinzuke, shiso
Desert

vanilla ice cream
The locally-grown menu is offered on Sundays and Mondays and by reservation only. Be sure to mention that you’re having the menu in advance to allow for preparations.
