BALI STEAK AND SEAFOOD
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the Hilton Hawaiian Village’s restaurant will add to the menu smoked, chilled Skuna Bay salmon salad, roasted duck with Brussels sprouts, chateaubriand for two and a Riesling-poached pear brown-butter cake.

THE BUFFET AT HYATT
The buffet celebrates the end of its first year with some special items available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Select from king crab, Pacific Northwest oysters, citrus-poached Kauaʻi shrimp, roast leg of lamb, poke or other hot and cold items. A carving station will also feature prime rib, honey ham and roasted free range turkey. Kids can pick up chicken strips, mac and cheese and other favorites at the keiki station. Don’t forget desserts including gingersnap bread pudding, blackberry basil panna cotta, a Christmas black forest yule log and hot cocoa station.

Along with the traditional menu, The Surfjack Hotel’s restaurant will offer a three-course meal. For the first course, choose from creamy kabocha soup or fresh beet salad. Main dish entrées include braised lamb shanks with polenta; fried half chicken with green papaya salad; seafood stew with monchong, lobster, he‘e, shrimp, fennel and tomato; and miso opah with bok choy and pa‘i‘ai. Finish it off with either peppermint chocolate tart, black sesame gelato ice cream sandwich and cinnamon hot chocolate, or a chef’s selection of gelato.

Have a Christmas pre-party at Kula Grille, with a buffet full of salads, hot selections and desserts. Start off with spiced ʻahi tataki with pickled onion and fried garlic ($22) before digging into prime rib with popovers and whipped potatoes ($50) or lobster Newburg in a sherry lobster sauce ($65). Finish it off with a salted caramel chocolate tart with roasted bananas ($15).

PLUMERIA BEACH HOUSE
Sushi, crispy branzino, roasted Cajun shrimp cocktail and seared ʻahi salad are just some of the choices at Plumeria Beach House’s dinner buffet. Whether you’ve got a craving for prime rib, crab legs, poke or sautéed stuffed chicken, this buffet has something for everyone, especially those with a sweet tooth. The 35th Hale ʻAina award winner will feature a four-course prix fixe menu for the holidays. Stripsteak’s “Instant” Bacon has pork belly, crispy oyster and black pepper-soy glaze. Then diners can select either lobster bisque with Kona lobster or The Wedge salad with a bacon crumble, egg, blue cheese and ranch dressing. Select from the restaurant’s smoked prime rib or a Kansas City strip before ending with red velvet cake. A limited à la carte menu will also be available with a few of chef Michael Mina’s favorites including Michael Mina’s Kona Lobster Pot Pie.

Celebrate the holidays with views of Waikīkī Beach, Diamond Head and those Honolulu city lights at the state’s only revolving restaurant. Prix fixe menus will not be offered on Christmas Day, but along with the regular menu, you can order prime rib with mashed potatoes, broccolini and horseradish cream.
