HONOLULU Magazine has reinvented the 2020 Hale ‘Aina Awards to give diners a new, intimate way to experience their favorite award-winning restaurants. The Hale ‘Aina Dinner Series highlights past and current winners through one-night-only special menus or collab dinners.

As part of our Hale ‘Aina Dinner Series, you’re invited to an exclusive evening with Pai Honolulu, the Hale ‘Aina Awards’ 2020 Bronze winner for Best Tasting Menu. Chef Kevin Lee brings his innovative mind and signature culinary touch in a one-night-only dinner featuring a four-course tasting menu and optional wine pairing on Jan. 24, with seating times at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Tables are available for parties of 2 or 4 people, with or without wine pairing.



CHEF’S CORNBREAD – Honey miso butter



CHILLED LOBSTER AND BAY SCALLOPS – Yuzu ikura, ginger vinaigrette, whipped ricotta, cherry tomato, lobster chips



WINTER TRUFFLE BASMATI CONGEE – Escargot, pickled grapes, garlic chive, cilantro, cashews, basmati rice, shiso



BLACK BEAN BRAISED SHORT RIB OF BEEF – Truffle potato purée, maitake, broccoli



DARK CHOCOLATE MOLTEN BROWNIE – Peanut butter bourbon gelato, cacao nibs, drizzled caramel, peanuts
