Not just any burger: Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in the Royal Hawaiian Center, Waikiki, has extended its $10 lunchtime burger bargain through the end of 2011.

Last year, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in the Royal Hawaiian Center celebrated National Hamburger Month by offering its burger at lunch for $10.

It was huge success–and now it’s back, through the end of 2011.

You can get Wolfgangs burger special during lunch—11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Were not talking Quarter Pounders here. The burger is a full 1/2 pound of ground prime sirloin. It comes on a soft, fresh sesame bun, with the traditional tomato, onion and lettuce, and it tastes like steak on a bun.

Plus you get fries with that. And not only fries, but also a heap of onion rings. Wolfgangs onion rings are the real deal, actual rings of onion in a light, golden herb batter.

The only downside. Cheese is $1 extra, but you hardly need a slice of cheese on this big and good-tasting a burger.

Was having lunch with guitarist Jeff Peterson, who, deservedly, has not only one, but two albums nominated for the Hawaiian Music Grammy Award next month.

“You really writing about this?” he asked me. “Maybe I should write some music. This is a good burger in really nice surroundings.”

A great $10 lunch in a white tablecloth restaurant should be enough to put a song in anyones heart. But if thats not enough to make you sing with joy, it comes with three hours of free validated parking at Royal Hawaiian Center.
