Word Play
As a woman of many words, I feel like lately, you've been sending all the wrong messages.
Don't get me wrong neon green bangle, you're still an attention-grabber, but you're a little loud for the office. And it's not that I don't love you layered chain necklace, but you're kind of weighing me down.
It's time to begin a new chapter in my collection, and I'm starting with found*ling jewelry.
North Carolina-based designers Betsy and Stephen Carr sift through old books, maps and fabrics, reprint them on fade-resistant paper, and encase them in recycled sterling silver. The result: delicate, vintage-inspired jewelry that will stand the test of time.
Note the leather wrap bracelet with a snippet from a mid-century dictionary. Skim through stackable rings and necklaces that use old children's books to spell phrases like "Oh my" or "you & me." Then chart a path around layered bracelets with colorful vintage maps.
Any of these pieces will be a novel way to express my true feelings.
Moving on never felt so write.
Love,
LC
