What You Can Rent For $3,000 in Honolulu
Every month, we look at rental rates across O‘ahu. This month: Hawai‘i Kai, Kailua and ‘Ewa Beach.
Even though $3,000 per month is a chunk of change to spend on rent, many of us do. To put it in perspective, it’s the equivalent of a $725,000 purchase with today’s interest rates and a 20 percent down payment. This week we continue our look at our busy rental market. If you’re searching, you know it’s very competitive out there. In addition to Craigslist, where properties get snatched up quickly, Realtors have access to rental listings at MLS, and many work specifically with rental properties, so consider reaching out to one if you’re frustrated.
The following are a sampling of what’s available now in Honolulu and surrounding areas. Which one would you choose?
