We're Number… 29?
Honolulu's rank in an international quality of life survey.
A global human resources consulting firm, Mercer, just released a list of cities with the highest quality of life and Honolulu came in 29th place, right between Stuttgart, Germany, and Adelaide, Australia. The next-highest ranked US city was San Francisco, in 30th place. (This makes more sense at the full list, where one sees a three-way tie for 30th place between Adelaide, Paris and San Francisco.)
The world’s best city? Mercer says Vienna, Austria, based on its analysis of such factors as political and social environment, health and sanitation, schools, natural environment and more.
Remember those “Paris-New York-Tokyo-Waimanalo” bumper stickers? Not so farfetched.
