One is the tale of a hit man reluctantly released from prison to deal with his ex-wife, mob boss and more. The other tells the story of a magazine editor who is convinced she can end a run of bad luck by digging in a swamp-turned-landfill. Either way, Hawaii premieres of the award-winning Norway film A Somewhat Gentle Man and Japan’s Instant Swamp are an amusing way to spend an afternoon.
When: A Somewhat Gentle Man shows Sunday, 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Instant Swamp airs Monday, 12:15, 2:30, and 4:45 p.m.
