Earhart has Landed
What: Lost aviator Amelia Earhart's time in the islands is captured in a new photo exhibit at the Pacific Aviation Museum. The 40 photographs were taken as publicity stills when she spent a few weeks in the islands in 1934, then touched down for three days in 1937 before disappearing during her round-the-world flight. Matson had it stashed away until just recently and now you can take a look.
When: The exhibit opens tomorrow with a celebration from 2 – 4 p.m. The museum is open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
