On the Tail
What: Pack water, sunscreen, binoculars and kick off the most active season for humpback whale watching in the islands. On Maui, the Pacific Whale Foundation launches weekly cruises and volunteers in three locations will help people spot the majestic creatures. On Oahu, check out the seaside locations where the even the experts do their counts or get up close online with an encounter that had workers at Honolulu Harbor buzzing.
