What: After 32 years in business, Mellow Antiques & Estate Jewelry is shuttering its retail space at Davies Pacific Center and holding a store-wide retirement sale. Score up to 50 percent off everything, including fixtures, when the sale launches Tuesday.
When: Tuesday-Friday, noon-6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

What: Chinese New Year may be eight days away, but celebrations are already underway. Get in the spirit by picking up a limited-edition Year of the Snake shirt, $89, by Reyn Spooner. This year's design features artwork by Big Island artist Eddy Y and is available in surf, maroon and cocoa.

Dog Meet Dog World
What: Your Valentine isn't the only one who needs love this month. Spend quality time with your pooch at the Hawaii Humane Society's Doggie Date Night. Check out local food vendors, pick up unique doggie-related products, even treat your pet to a special massage. Don't have a dog? Several will be available for adoption.
When: Saturday, February 9, 3-8 p.m. Adoptions take place from 4-6 p.m.
Where: Aloha Tent (Sections 8-9) at Aloha Stadium.

Wardrobe Updates

• If you missed our Facebook post earlier this week, Fighting Eel will open a third boutique in April. The 820-square-foot space will be located in Royal Hawaiian Center next to Furla on Level 1 of Building B.
• On Monday, Barneys Warehouse Sale will become a permanent outlet site, offering past-seasons' sale items for up to 75 percent off.
• Gap and Diane von Furstenberg are teaming up once again on a GapKids and babyGap collection. DVF for Gap is expected to hit stores in April.
• Keds and Kate Spade are also launching a second collection to celebrate Kate Spade's 20th anniversary. The colorful sneakers will range from $75-$85 when they go on sale at Kate Spade New York stores and Nordstrom later this month.
