What: You still haven’t found a worthy Mother’s Day offering for mom, have you? Better get on it.

Paint the Town
What: Iona Contemporary Dance Theater brings back Paint By Numbers – an edgy show first performed in 2005 that’s not for the, ahem, paint of heart. Ten gallons of washable paint and 10 dancers take to a blank white stage and backdrop to become human paintbrushes and palettes. By the end, both dancers and the canvas are colored and splattered.
Where: The Cupola, Honolulu Design Center , 1250 Kapiolani Blvd.
When: Friday, Saturday, Sunday evenings at 8 p.m. Also performed next weekend, May 16-18.
