What: You’ve probably already heard about the wildly tantalizing flavors that will be offered at this weekend’s first-ever Ice Cream Bar&D, like black truffle soft serve with McDonald’s french fries. You’ve probably also heard that seating is limited. Very limited. Here’s what you don’t know: walk-ins will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis roughly 45 minutes after each seating, depending on supply.

What: It’s been five years since acclaimed Chef Nobu Matsuhisa opened the doors to his Hawaii flagship, Nobu Waikiki. To celebrate, the restaurant is offering a special seven-course Kokoro “Heart” omakase, featuring signature favorites like white fish sashimi with ponzu and black cod with miso.
