What:
If you’re looking for a fun summer read, pick up The Next Best Thing by New York Times best-selling author Jennifer Weiner. The novel follows a young woman navigating the twists and turns of Hollywood to create a TV sitcom inspired by her relationship with her grandmother. We suspect the story itself, as told by the writer who penned In Her Shoes and the short-lived ABC Family series State of Georgia, is also somewhat autobiographical.
Details: $16.19 on Amazon, $12.99 on Kindle.
