You'll try chocolate-beet cake, gluten-free banana and mango breads, cookies or tasty fruit bars. Then when your mouth isn't full, ask three of the chefs behind the recipes your questions about healthy baking.

What: Go Ga Ga and feel like a lady at the Legends in Concert Waikiki’s special Valentine’s Day performance. Swoon to your favorite love ballads by Elton John, Elvis, and other star tribute entertainers over a lobster salad, beef tenderloin and a special bonus – a red rose for every woman in the audience. Then for a sweet finish, melt for Honolulu Cookie Company’s delectable shortbread cookies dressed up in heart shapes for the romantic holiday.

What: A message for Valentine's Day procrastinators: bling it on at Bead It's last-minute gift workshop. All three locations will help guys make handmade necklaces, bracelets, or earrings from the stores' Swarovski crystals and other beads for their loved one. Don't worry, experts will keep an eye on them.
When: Monday, arrive between 5-6:30 p.m. Work takes about 30-40 minutes.
Where: Bead It!'s locations in Kaimuki at 1152 Koko Head Ave., 600 Kailua Rd., and 590 Farrington Hwy. in Kapolei.
