What: Christmas may be over, but you can still open amazing gifts during the Fukubukuro event at Royal Hawaiian Center. On New Year's Day, dozens of merchants will be selling red mystery bags filled with goodies at 50 percent or more off their retail value. Select restaurants will also offer gift cards for up to 50 percent off.
When: Tuesday, January 1. A performance by Kenny Endo's Taiko Center of the Pacific kicks off the festivities in The Royal Grove at 9:30 a.m. Bags will be available from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. while supplies last.
