Experience history through the stories of those who lived it at Hawaii's oldest public graveyard. In the first ever Oahu Cemetery Pupu Theatre, storytellers in period dress will bring to life the tales of a Kauai woman's deadly fight to avoid going to Kalaupapa, a fireman watching three of his fellow firefighters die in the attack on December 7, 1941, a detective working on the 1928 kidnap-murder case of 10-year-old Gil Jamieson, and even memories from Queen Liliuokalani's mother-in-law, Mary Dominis.
When: Saturday. Light pupus begin at 6 p.m., the walk is at 6:30.
