Mall for Fashion
What:
Make a study of style and cheer on the next generation of fashion designers at Kahala Mall’s Runway Show. For the last two weeks, four teams of students from University of Hawaii and Honolulu Community College have been putting together the looks for a celebrity, professional and mom model. This weekend, they’ll finally strut their stuff in a competition guaranteed to be fierce. Tune in to the music of Mailani and Taimane Gardner, then make the rounds for discounts throughout the mall, bonus Hawaiian Miles, and enter to win airline tickets or a stay at the Kahala Hotel & Resort.
When: Saturday. Musical performances begin at 10:30 a.m. The runway competition is at noon.

Tsunami Fun-raiser
What:
d.k Kodama, Alan Wong, Le Bistro, Hiroshi are among the 24 restaurants giving you a reasons to stop by the With Aloha fundraiser for. Sip the best from Better Brands, Kona Brewing Company, Paradise Beverages and more while you rock to the music from three different stages featuring award-winning musicians (HAPA and Brother Noland anyone?). Proceeds go directly to the Tohoku Hospital, which has been providing food and supplies for families in hard-hit Sendai Region since the March 11 tsunami.

Drive past the drive through and pick up some home-cooked, healthy dishes for your dinner. Self-taught chef Michi Harris is now offering her Cooking Fresh for you meals in smaller portions. In addition to serving sizes for four adults, Harris now cooks up her delicious low-fat entrees, gourmet salads with homemade dressings, and freshly baked whole grain rolls and breads in single servings.
When: Pick up days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3-6 p.m. Order are taken until noon that day.
