Saturday, Nov. 1, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cheer on keiki and adult crews in the canoe and sailing races, watch live music by the Royal Hawaiian Band, Leokāne Pryor and CJ Helekahi, see hula performances, shop regatta merchandise and enjoy food and drink for purchase. This inaugural event honors King David Kalākaua who held an annual regatta on his birthday beginning in 1875.

Aupuni Space Junior vol. 3

This group art exhibition displays pieces from young, up-and-coming Hawaiian artists who have never been featured before at the Aupuni Space gallery. November marks the beginning of the rainy season in Hawai‘i, which is the perfect time to plant a tree. Be one of the first 200 plant lovers to arrive and receive a free tree to take home. The giveaway will include varietals such as cacao, Tahitian lime, kou, milo and hibiscus. You can also purchase native Hawaiian plants, starting at $20, from the weekly plant sale happening simultaneously.
