Women’s Self-Defense Bootcamp

Fridays through April 7, 6 to 8 p.m.

A six-week class held every Friday where women can gain confidence, feel empowered and learn life-saving self-defense skills at jiu jitsu academy K-Team Honolulu. While the sign up for the full six-week course is past deadline, you can sign up for individual classes at $35 per session. Another series is planned for June 2023. Sunday, March 19, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

An afternoon of shopping, live entertainment from local up-and-coming musical artists, freshly prepared ono grinds, keiki activities and more. Bring a girlfriend or two to support small, local businesses (many of them women-owned) in a family and pet-friendly environment.

45 Annual Hawai‘i Pacific Health Women’s 10K & 5K

Saturday, March 19, 10K begins at 6:30 a.m., 5K begins at 7 a.m.

A morning of fitness and fun where women can participate in a 10K and a 5K run. Hang around after the race for refreshments, activities, prize giveaways, health and wellness information and more. All 10K and 5K finishers receive a rose, finisher’s shirt and bag.

 

Online registration closes midnight March 16 and in-person registration is available at packet pick-up, which is held at BOCA Hawai’i on Friday, March 17, from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday, March 18, from noon to 5 p.m. You can also register the day of race between 5 and 6 a.m. at Kapi‘olani Park bandstand.

Restore To Rise: A Women’s Leadership Event

Friday, March 24, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Emjoy nourishing, plant-based food and bring a yoga mat and blanket for activities like sound healing, breathwork and meditation. Wear comfortable clothes (pajamas welcome!) and connect with other women in the community.
