Watch These Pearl Harbor Survivors Conquer the Mannequin Challenge Twice!

The mannequin challenge is the latest viral video craze that’s sweeping the nation, and decorated Pearl Harbor Attack survivors recently conquered the trend in two separate videos that won’t be under the radar for very long.

The Greatest Generations Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of America’s veterans, posted two different Facebook videos of Pearl Harbor Attack survivors partaking in the mannequin challenge with the help of friends and family. The videos garnered almost 4,600 reactions on Facebook as of the morning of Dec. 7, the 75th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack.

Celebrities from Adele and Paul McCartney to Taylor Swift and even brands such as the Dallas Cowboys are taking part in the mannequin challenge. In case you missed the viral trend, it’s exactly what it sounds like. People freeze, mid-pose—like mannequins—as a camera hovers around the room while “Black Beatles” by Rae Sremmurd plays in the background.

We spotted women taking selfies with Pearl Harbor survivors, Navy Hale Keiki School students performing and Harmonica Pete playing the harmonica—all frozen in time. These Pearl Harbor Attack survivors deserve a huge bravo not only for their service, but now for defying physics.
