Warrior Dash Hawaii Video
Warrior Dash Hawaii took place at Dillingham Field on Oahu's North Shore with more than 7,900 people crossing the finish line.
CH: This is Christine Hitt and Christian Vetter of HONOLULU Magazine at the Warrior Dash!
CV: This is Warrior Dash's first time in Hawaii and we certainly hope it's not their last. Thousands are expected to arrive here today, and it's going to be great.
CV: More than 7,900 people took part in the world's largest running series. In the craziest race ever they swam through mud, scaled walls and leaped over first in the 3 mile obstacle course.
Warriors: I pity da fool, anybody didn't do da Warrior Dash.
CV: Excuse me, do you guys want to be on video for HONOLULU Magazine?
Warriors: What kind of question is that?
CH: What was your favorite obstacle?
Warriors: Gotta be the mud. So much fun, but the mud is just the best.
CH: We have Tiffany Hill here from HONOLULU Magazine, our associate editor. What made you want to participate?
TH: It just sounded really fun. I think it's going to be a lot of fun, maybe challenging as well. Everybody looks muddy and excited, and there's beer. Why not?
CV: Warriors received a finisher medal and then enjoyed beer, food and live music.
CV: How was it?
Warriors: Rawr !
CH: How was it, guys?
OD: It was freaking awesome!
CH: So what place did you come in?
OD: Won our heat, came in first place. Pretty stoked about that.
CH: Wow! How long did it take you?
OD: Not sure, I don't know. I didn't have a watch on me and there was no clock.
CH: Would you do it again?
OD: Oh yeah. Yeah, without a doubt, yeah.
CH: Are you doing it again?
TH: Hell yes!
CH: I think I'm doing it next year, definitely.
CV: This was wild, we'll see you next year!
OD, TH, CH: See you next year!
