Waikiki Open House

I’m all about ways to cut back on the stresses of shopping for a new home because, if we’re being honest here, house hunting can be a patience-testing, marriage-wrecking, blood-pressure-raising affair. So I was pretty jazzed to hear about the Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties Waikiki is Open event this  Sunday, Sept. 12.

From 2 to 5 p.m., would-be house hunters can stop by Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber anytime to pick up a map and a list of open houses, and then either amble from house to house or hop on one of the provided Waikiki is Open trolleys (though I imagine that walking offers certain advantages—strolls on the beach, coffee breaks, drinks with little umbrellas, you get the picture). Attendees can also enter to win a two-night stay at the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk (bonus).
