Do you know of a historic building or landmark in danger of being lost? Are you or others working to save a site from demolition, neglect, natural disaster or other threat? We want to know about it!

Every year, the Historic Hawaii Foundation names the island’s most endangered historic places, in cooperation with HONOLULU Magazine and the Hawaii State Historic Preservation Division. The list includes buildings, landmarks, landscapes and communities and, while inclusion on the list does not protect or preserve a site, it can raise awareness and motivate action.

The nomination deadline is July 31, 2013. Each nomination requires filling out a simple form, and submitting at least two digital photographs showing the historic property and the threat. To make a nomination, visit historichawaii.org.
