UH graduate Bejan Moers debuts Warrior Designs clothing line
In Roar Form

When it comes to fashion, it's a jungle out there. Sometimes, you've got to be a real warrior to snag the hottest designs or score the best deals.
Other times, you just have to look like one, which is all the more reason to attend tonight's launch of Warrior Designs, a clothing line by Bejan Mojer.
If his name sounds familiar, that's because the Brooklyn-born, University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate was one of seven senior designers spotlighted in the Apparel Product Design & Merchandising senior fashion show earlier this year (photo gallery here).
Moers' full line is an extension of the minimalist, structured pieces that hit the runway back in April, though he describes his newer designs as sportier and more functional than the originals. Think geometric-seamed pencil skirts, sleek paneled leggings, asymmetric biased tanks, and thigh-high slit dresses (okay, so there are exceptions) in lightweight, touchable fabrics like supple lambskin leather, stretch lycra, and paper-thin nylon, along with hand-crafted accessories.
Not only will his entire collection be out in full force via a special runway show, but it'll also be on sale for the first time ever. Which means you can actually take home and snuggle with, say, a jaw-dropping faux fur collar with gunmetal chains.
Just go wild.
Warrior Designs' debut fashion show takes place tonight at 8 p.m. at Elements at the Modern in The Modern Honolulu, $10 presale here, $20 at the door, ages 21 and over. Apparel prices range from $50-$300. Runway photos by Tommy Shih.
