Tsunami Warning for Hawaii
UPDATE 12:23 p.m.: Media reports of water disturbances around Waikiki. From where I’m sitting, I can definitely see that. A little after noon, a current started running mauka into the Ala Wai canal, very visible where the Ala Moana Boulevard bridge crosses the canal. It stirred up silt and flowed inland for while. Then it changed direction and headed back out to sea, slowly filling the Waikiki yacht harbor with reddish, silty water.
