True Colors
REVERIEhawaii's vibrant ombre bags

Lately your wardrobe has been totally colorblocked. In fact, you've been maroon-ed in the one-shade spectrum for as long as you can remember. You need something to bring the color back into your cheeks (and wardrobe) and break you out of this hole of monochrome.
Get a quick pigment fix from one of REVERIEhawaii's ombre bags. Designer Carly Bergen was a full-time kinesiology student at UH Manoa until she cut her academic hours to part-time in order to follow her dream: Having a business that allowed her to be creative—and REVERIE was born. In February, she debuted her colorful line of dyed pieces and now sells the hue-tiful wares in DRift boutique.
Bergen's eye for cheery shades make for a rainbow of cotton canvas accessories in rich lilac, perky pink and deep blues. Pack your pennies in style with her dip-dyed, spearmint-colored coin purse or go more subtle with a folder clutch in yellow-to-gray gradient. Details such as bold zippers in contrasting colors or stamped leather REVERIE tags finish her pieces with an artsy and rustic vibe.
Bergen is also working on a palette of dyed totes and wristlets to be available later this year.
Now you can go back to painting the town red or—why choose?— yellow, green, blue, purple…
Prices range from $15-$35 on the REVERIEhawaii Etsy shop. Also available at Drift boutique, 3434 Waialae Ave., 284-1177.
