Top-Performing Oahu Neighborhoods of 2010

Many Oahu neighborhoods saw increased median sales prices in 2010, as compared to 2009, for single-family homes and condominiums. Those boroughs with the greatest growth were, rather unsurprisingly, areas that traditionally hold their value, including Aina Haina-Kuliouou, Waialae-Kahala and Kapahulu-Diamond Head. But it was interesting to see Makakilo and Ewa Plain gain some ground. Overall, the numbers point to a healthier, stronger market, with the median sales price of single-family homes having increased 3 percent to $592,750 and the median sales price for condos/townhomes holding steady at $305,000.

Here are the five neighborhoods for single-family homes and condos with the greatest increases in median sales price from 2009 to 2010.
