William K. Wong Jr., M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been consistently voted a Top Doctor by HONOLULU Magazine. A local boy and Punahou School alumnus, Dr. Wong received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Brooke Army and Wilford Hall Medical Centers in San Antonio, and is a combat veteran who served as a battalion surgeon in Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a past president of the Hawai‘i Medical Association, the Honolulu County Medical Society and the Hawai‘i Ophthalmological Society. When not dedicating his time to patients, he can be found at Kewalo’s catching a post-work swell.
