Alocal boy with world class training in ophthalmology and cataract surgery, Dr. Brandon Lee’s goal has always been to return home to serve the people of Hawaii. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Lee was fortunate to train at two of the nation’s top eye institutes, USC’s Doheny Eye Institute for his ophthalmology residency and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, ranked the nation’s #1 eye hospital for the past 16 years, where he completed his fellowship in medical diseases of the retina.
Dr. Lee was selected by his peers in ophthalmology to represent Hawaii at the American Academy of Ophtha mology’s Leadership Development Program and has served on the executive boards of the Hawaii Medical Association (HMA) and the Hawaii Ophthalmological Society (HOS). Dr. Lee also finds it rewarding to dedicate part of his time to patients in Hilo, where he specializes primarily in cataract surgery at the Ludwig Opthalmo-
logy Center.
Dr. Lee joined the Cataract & Vision Center of Hawaii in 2011, continuing the legacy of quality eye care started by his father Dr. Worldster Lee, also honored as one of HONOLULU Magazine’s Top Doctors for 2019 and in preceding years. The Cataract & Vision Center of Hawaii is one of the few practices in Hawaii with an on-site surgery center, fully equipped to provide state of-the-art laser-assisted and traditional cataract surgery with the latest multifocal and astigmatism-correcting
lens implants.
With the addition of Dr. Daniel Choi in 2018, a corneal and refractive surgeon, Dr. Brandon Lee and the staff of the Cataract & Vision Center of Hawaii are dedicated to providing compassionate care for Hawaii’s people for generations to come.
Dr. Lee joined the Cataract & Vision Center of Hawaii in 2011, continuing the legacy of quality eye care started by his father, Dr. Worldster Lee.
