Third Annual Eisa Drum Festival

The Eisa Drum Festival is back to celebrate another year of Okinawan culture. There will be food prepared by the Kapiolani Community College culinary program, Okinawan drumming, music and karate. 21st Annual World Fireknife Championship

The traditional Samoan fireknife dance uses modern innovations on ancient move that were used to express victory in battle. Ekiden & Music Festival 2013

Ekiden is a popular Japanese relay race and this will be the first of its kind outside of Japan. Sign up as a team and race 26 miles from Kapiolani Park to Sandy Beach and back. The race will be followed by an awards ceremony and a music festival with Japanese musicians and singers.
