Tokoname Sushi Bar & Restaurant Celebrates One Year in Manoa

Sometimes it's melt-in-the-mouth sashimi with a cup of sake after work. Sometimes you're craving a steaming hot bowl of udon in a homemade broth at 1 a.m. Sometimes you would kill for a plate of freshly fried chicken karaage or or firecracker shrimp with just enough spice to kick off your weekend.
One spot in Manoa offers it all.
Tokoname Sushi Bar & Restaurant opened at Manoa Marketplace one year ago. It offers the same quality Japanese food that has been drawing in diners in Kailua for years, such as crab-stuffed shrimp, soft shell crab salad, furikake chicken and a sushi chef offering the freshest sashimi, nigiri and hand rolls. But the new location is open for lunch and also offers a late night happy hour from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Add to that the take-out sushi service, private party room, and full bar with an extensive sake menu and shiatsu beer tower, and Tokoname is ideal for any occasion.
To celebrate its one-year anniversary, Tokoname Sushi Bar & Restaurant Manoa is treating one HONOLULU reader to a party for 25. Think of that next birthday or anniversary party. That baby or bridal shower or even big business lunch. Or, use it as an excuse to gather those 24 friends you never get a chance to see.
Check out the dinner, lunch and sake menus here. Then enter to win by October 15.
