This North Shore Organic Farm Is a Dream Come True

Have you outgrown your urban garden, or do you need a little more space for your hens to roam without fear of traffic on your busy street? This 5-acre organic farm with ocean views on O‘ahu’s North Shore is just minutes away from historic Hale‘iwa town, and is now on the market for $3.995 million.

Located at 65-1140 Poamoho St. in Waialua on the highest lot in the gated subdivision of Poamoho Estates, the home has views of the coastline, ocean and mountains, from Mount Ka‘ala to Pūpūkea Ridge. A henhouse means fresh eggs daily for the owners, making this a true farm-to-table setting.

A 26,000-square-foot greenhouse sits at the entrance to the property; from here the homeowners operate Kama‘āina Land Nursery, which services many Island businesses with beautiful plants. The shade house, complete with an automatic irrigation system and accessible by driveway, is included in the sale. The thriving plant rental business is also available for separate purchase.

There’s also a second large plantation-style accessory building currently being used as an art studio. This private country estate has plenty of room for barns, horses and stables, but only one residential home per lot is permitted.
