The Missed List – May 2012

It's starting to come back.

The massive designer blowout. The disgruntled sales clerk. The crazy mob of shoppers. One hand on a fabulous Marc Jacobs coat. Then everything faded to black.

The good news: you're alive. The bad news: you don't remember much from last month. Don't worry. We'll fill you in on the key Lei Chics you missed.

As for everything else? Sorry, you're on your own.

Since our last post, this Waialua mom of four has been busy filling her Etsy shop with fun new pillow cases (shown left), printed linen tote bags and e-reader covers. When Lynn Sakutori debuted her petite line, sakutori, in Nordstrom last month, customers couldn't get enough of her work-ready separates and wrinkle-resistant dresses. Now, the local designer is gearing up for her second delivery with a cinnamon color palette (think deep reds, taupes and browns) and new styles like a slouchy knit jacket with 3/4 kimono sleeves, and tops with pleated neck detail.
We'll let you know when it arrives. In the meantime, read this.
