Pleasurelounge Hawaii is really doing well in the nightclub scene. Check it out this Saturday night on the second floor of the Honolulu Design Center as it takes over the Amuse Wine Bar and Cupola combined, with a DJ playing your current hits. F&M Present’s Home tonight at the Lotus Hotel and Aria at Century Center tomorrow. Aria has a free cover now, so there is no reason not to check it out! I do recommend it. It’s a cool venue. See my quick review.
This weekend is Hawaii’s Annual Summer Salsa in Paradise Festival. Tonight, visit Planet Hollywood at 8 p.m. for its first night of competition, a workshop and dance showcase, then continue dancing the night away with Latin music until closing. The main event will be Saturday at Ala Moana Beach Park with workshops, performances, the Son Caribe Salsa Band, Brazilian dancers and Capeiroa Hawaii. Celebrate Father’s Day at Sea Life Park as KCCN and Budweiser present the First Annual Father’s Day Hawaiian Music Festival this Sunday, June 21. Kaleo Pilanca hosts the event and musical entertainers include Kalapana, Kapena and Beach 5, with hula by Tamatoa.
