Last Friday, Tiffany Hill and I partied at Crazy, Sexy, Ghoul.
With Halloween being on a Sunday this year, all of the bars have things happening on different nights of the week. Here’s my Halloween Hitt List, and your guide to what’s happening:

FRIDAY

The Honolulu Academy of Arts’ last Art After Dark party of the year is its “Seven Deadly Sins” Halloween event. Listen to DJ Vegas Mike, DJ Spikedelic and YOZA in the courtyards. Participate in a costume contest with host Star 101.9 DJ Maleko, get your body painted by Nicholas the Artist, go on a scavenger hunt, and don’t forget to eat and drink. 6 to 9 p.m., 900 S. Beretania St., artafterdark.org.

SATURDAY

Hallowbaloo is a massive block party in Chinatown, which will have over 10,000 people in attendance. It begins at 5 p.m. on Nuuanu Avenue with five stages of live music and entertainment, including performances by Mano Kane, Kings of Spade, Shopping List, The Budos Band, Cherry Blossom Cabaret and more. hallowbaloo.com.

At the block party, you may pick up a club crawl wristband, giving you entry into eight clubs ($3 with costume, $5 without). Purchase your wristbands early before they sell out. The bars included are SoHo Mixed Media Bar, The Venue, Mercury Bar, Indigo, Bar 35, Thirtyninehotel, Next Door and Manifest. Or, if you prefer to pick a bar and settle in, see each club’s schedule.

If you have a fear of large crowds, then head to Ward Centre for Ka Restaurant and Lounge’s Halloween Party “Teach Me How To Wiggie.” There will be $2,000 in costume contest prizes for best costume, wig couple, best overall costume and a dance contest. Ward Centre, 1200 Ala Moana Blvd.

Spooky Lau is the theme at Oceans 808 with 93.1 the Zone and Lanai Media. It features a costume contest, a Michael Jackson dance off and music by DJ Mikie D. 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., Restaurant Row, 500 Ala Moana Blvd.

Apartment3 is having a Halloween party all weekend, but Sunday it will feature DJs Eskae and Compose from the Nocturnal Sound Krew, free Halloween makeovers with professional make-up artist Jayme Kavanaugh and a full kitchen open until 12:30 a.m. Century Center, 3rd Floor, 1750 Kalakaua Ave., Honolulu. apartmentthree.com.
