The First Ever Dining Out for Kids (sponsored)

Usually it's because you are meeting friends. You want to try the newest eatery. Or, quite simply, you're just hungry. Now, there's a new reason to dine out.

This month, four of your favorite restaurants are giving back for the first ever Dining for Kids event for PARENTS, Inc. All you need to do is eat at Chef Chai at Pacifica, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Side Street Inn Kapahulu and Auntie Pasto's in Kunia on designated days, mention Dining for Kids, and those restaurants will donate a portion of your check to PARENTS, Inc., a non-profit that provides services to parents to help prevent and treat child abuse and neglect in Hawaii.

October 3-9

Indulge in dishes such as deconstructed scallop pot pie with lobster reduction or crispy asian taco with smoked duck breast at Chef Chai at Pacifica4-11 p.m.

   

October 15 

How about Italian nachos with sausage and calabrian peppers or porcini-stuffed mushroom ravioli with caramelized onions and cream sauce at Romano's Macaroni Grill11 a.m.-10 p.m.

   

October 21 

Chicken piccata, gnocchi or roasted pepper and goat cheese pizza are among the options at Auntie Pasto's Kunia11 a.m.-9 p.m.

   

October 22 

Top off your month of eating with Side Street Inn Kapahulu favorites such as roast pork and char siu Chinese sliders or the famous pan fried Island pork chops. 3-11:30 p.m.
