The Cost of Pres. Obama's Hawaii Vacation
Hawaii Reporter attempts to add up all the costs, including the ones for which the Island have yet to be reimbursed.
Some local reporting by Hawaii Reporter went national at USA Today, in which HR goes into painstaking detail to estimate the cost of the president’s vacation in Hawaii. Of note—the city and county of Honolulu has yet to be reimbursed for more than a quarter-million dollars worth of police protection provided during previous visits.
