The Black Forrest Wine Dinner

Tango Contemporary Cafe will host its last Third Tuesday at Tango wine pairing dinner of the year on Tuesday, December 15th, 6:30 p.m.

Chef Goran Streng has created a “The Black Forrest Wine Dinner” with flavors of the Rhine paired with a selection of German wines.

Here’s the special 3-course menu for the night:

Appetizer Course
Sauteed Foie Gras Deglazed with Sherry Vinegar and Red Currants
Mushroom Ragout in Puff Pastry with Parma Prosciutto and Rabbit Veal Sausage
Paired with CF Wines Muller Thurgau 2008 (Furst)

Entree Course
Roast Goose Breast with Juniper All Spice Sauce, Red Cabbage and Root Vegetable Puree
Paired with Lehner Claus 2006 (Blau Frankish)

Dessert Course
Black Forrest Cake
Dessert wine pairing (German Riesling)

The three-course dinner is available for $48.00 plus tax and tip. Limited seating.
