Buying a home is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, investments people will ever make—especially in Hawai‘i. So this month, HONOLULU Magazine presents a guide to the top agents and brokers in real estate. Whether you’re looking to buy, sell, refinance or insure a home, this is a great place to find expert help.

We worked with local firm Ward Research to survey more than 10,000 real estate professionals and HONOLULU Magazine readers. The survey was based on customer satisfaction: Each person was asked to list a real estate agent, and a mortgage and an insurance professional they would recommend to a friend, and then rank him or her on customer service and satisfaction. Professionals surveyed were asked to recommend one colleague as well as two people outside of their company.

Ward compiled the data and selected the highest-ranked in each field to be honored. No one was able to buy his or her way onto the list. This represents the top professionals licensed to do business in Hawai‘i—congratulations to those selected
