“The Art of Peace” Gala

For the Domestic Violence Action Center’s 25th anniversary of helping victims of abuse, the organization is putting together a night of performance and visual arts, jewelry, fashion and a silent auction, all on the theme of how art provides hope and healing. Pegge Hopper donated one of her designs (above) to commemorate the milestone. See it on reusable bags or mugs you can purchase at the event.

The Rough Riders

Three of Hawai‘i’s greatest musicians, Henry Kapono, John Cruz and Brother Noland, wrap up their “We Ride” tour of the West Coast and the Islands at the Hawai‘i Theatre.
